A Message From April's Family

Just wanted you all to know that our Mom is no longer struggling...she can finally Just Breathe!!!

April May (LeJeune) Boggs of Ann Arbor passed away in her sleep on Nov. 7 after a courageous battle with Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis. She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Ray Boggs, Jr, and their 3 children, Lori Boggs, Leah (Scott) Powers, and Jason (Martha) Boggs, and her 4 grandchildren. There will be a memorial service on Friday, November 11, at 2pm at St. Andrews United Church of Christ, in Dexter. In lieu of flowers, please send memorial contributions to the family or to the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation.

  1. I will miss you on Facebook my friend. Your kindness and support toward me and my family will never be forgotten. It was hard for us as I am sure it is hard for your loved ones right now. I love how you start your day with positive words and a recipe. I have tried or kept a few of the recipes. You know how to make my mouth water. You know how to laugh and make others laugh as well. Love to you and your family. Can't wait to meet you again in the pain free Kingdom. xxoo Jean Kopinski

  2. Dearest April,

I know you are baking with the angels. Your words have been inspiring and I am glad we were not only friends but within the same family of bloggers as well. You are truly one of a kind and will be greatly missed in this world.

  3. I'm so sorry that I was unable to make it to the memorial service. You were all in my thoughts and prayers that day. April was one of a kind -- a beautiful soul. She will be missed by all whose life she touched. Every year I will celebrate her birthday with my own children's birthday...they were born on the same date. My love and prayers are with you all.
